Retrofitting (2008 - 2013)

During this period I retrofitted a number of spaces, so that they appeared to be fitted with futuristic architecture and Space Age technology.

​

These works were made for several exhibitions in vacant retail units, former office buildings and industrial spaces. The works were placed next to left-over fixtures and fittings from the previous life of the building. The works ranged in size from small resin casts to grand alien geometric archways which revealed themselves to be just facades of cardboard and Balsa wood.
