about.

Gillian Fitzpatrick

This selection of work starts from 2009. I work in a variety of media, and the history of space exploration, science fiction television programs and films have been very influential throughout my work.

My collaborative project with physicist Justin Donnelly “Like gold to airy thinness beat” was selected to be a part of the Moon Gallery: Test Flight that was sent to the International Space Station (ISS) in February 2022, along with 63 other artworks. It made over 5,000 orbits of the Earth, remaining on board the ISS until January 2023.

More details about this and other work can be found in Projects and C.V.
